Refund Policy
A legal disclaimer
Under UK consumer law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, customers may be entitled to certain refund and return rights that cannot be excluded by store policy. For example, goods must be as described, of satisfactory quality, and fit for purpose. If an item is faulty or not as described, customers may have the right to reject it within 30 days for a full refund. For online or distance purchases, customers may also have a 14-day cooling-off period to request a return for most items, even if they are not faulty, although certain exclusions may apply. These statutory rights apply in addition to, and may override, any store-specific refund policies. Customers should note that while we follow supplier verification procedures, we will comply with all applicable UK consumer protection laws.
Refund and Return Policy
At CacheByte, we aim to ensure customer satisfaction with every purchase. However, due to the nature of our products and supplier arrangements, the following refund and return conditions apply:
Refund Approval Requirement
All refund requests must be reviewed and approved before any refund is issued. Approval is contingent upon verification by the supplier that the returned product is in the condition stated at the time of the request. The supplier must confirm that the item has not been altered, modified, damaged, or used beyond reasonable inspection.
Condition Verification
Returned items must match their original condition, including packaging, accessories, and any included documentation. If the supplier determines that the product’s condition has changed in any way, the refund request may be denied.
Supplier Receipt and Processing
Refunds will only be processed once the supplier has received the returned item and verified that the condition of the product matches the stated return request. Processing times may vary depending on supplier handling and verification procedures.
Supplier Policy Limitations
Some items may not be eligible for refunds due to individual supplier policies. Because we work with multiple suppliers, refund eligibility can vary depending on the product. As a result, refunds are not guaranteed for all items, even if a return is requested.
Non-Guaranteed Refunds
Submitting a return or refund request does not guarantee that a refund will be issued. Each case will be evaluated individually based on supplier confirmation and applicable policies.
